LA2050 is a Shorty Awards Winner – the ‘Oscars of Social Media’

The Goldhirsh Foundation’s LA2050 initiative is a back-to-back Winner in the prestigious annual Shorty Awards, a competition Fast Company once described as the “Oscars of Social Media.”
The LA2050 Newsletter was a Winner in the Email & Newsletter category. The LA2050 Newsletter also was a Winner in 2023.
Thank you to the Shorty Award judges, and congratulations to the Winners in other categories, such as Google, Duolingo, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Barbie, Amazon Studios MGM, SoFi, State Farm, General Mills, Kraft Heinz, and the Brennan Center for Justice.
The Shorty Awards describes itself as: “... an annual, international flagship awards competition honoring brands, agencies & organizations producing great content across digital and social.”
The LA2050 Newsletter serves as a semi-monthly hub for the Los Angeles social impact community, and an anthology of the work that LA2050 is doing.
In addition to news and features and original art, the LA2050 Newsletter also features the “Fave Five” places and spaces where Southland social impact leaders live, learn, create, connect, and play. Plus, the Newsletter has listings for social impact jobs and events, and links to a regularly updated table of external financial capital opportunities.
